Instructions for Cilio espresso maker
1. Unscrew the espresso maker by grasping the top and bottom parts by the body and turning them counterclockwise. Remove the funnel insert.
2. Fill the bottom of the espresso maker with water, up to just below the safety valve. The safety valve must not be submerged.
3. Reinsert the funnel insert. Fill it with espresso grounds and smooth the filling. Do not press the grounds down too hard!
4. Screw the top and bottom sections back together by grasping the body of both parts and turning them clockwise. Make sure the strainer and sealing ring are properly inserted.
5. Place the espresso maker on the heat source and heat it. We recommend brewing the espresso at a moderate temperature to avoid boilover and protect the maker. The espresso coffee will rise into the upper container, releasing a slight steam and bubbling. Immediately remove the maker from the heat source as soon as this noise stops.
6. We recommend stirring the espresso briefly with a spoon before pouring.
Serve your espresso in pre-warmed cups
