Mathematical wooden cubes
It's best when children learn through play. It's fun and much more sustainable. Because what I've learned myself stays with me forever.
100 ÷ 10, 10 x 10, 200 + 30 + 5 and 100 : 10
Calculating isn’t that difficult!
Base Ten is a set of wooden cubes in various sizes. These allow your child to visually understand and practice the four basic arithmetic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The decimal system is also illustrated with the wooden cubes.
The number range from 1 to 1,000 is reinforced through exercises. The results are checked by placing them side by side and counting. Estimating quantities is also introduced.
The set includes
? 1 counting cube (10 x 10 x 10 cm) = numerical value 1,000
? 10 hundred areas (10 x 10 x 1 cm) = numerical value 100
? 20 ten rods ( 10 x 1 x 1 cm) = numerical value 10
? 100 units cubes (1 x 1 x 1 cm) = numerical value 1
This educational resource supports and accompanies your child through many school years and lays a foundation for the subject of mathematics.
The mathematical wooden cube is also used in Montessori pedagogy.
